This course is designed for Year 6–Year 11 students preparing to study IGCSE First Language Chinese, structured in three stages to help learners gradually build Chinese literacy and prepare effectively for IGCSE study. It strictly follows the Cambridge IGCSE First Language Chinese assessment standards, using an inquiry-based approach to guide students from surface reading to deep interpretation, and from standardised writing to expressive individuality. Taught by a specialist Chinese teacher and qualified examiner, the programme provides examiner-level guidance, enabling students to gain a clear understanding of assessment criteria while strengthening reading, writing and communication skills. Beyond exam techniques, the course focuses on comprehensive language literacy and critical thinking, empowering students to express themselves confidently in both academic contexts and future pathways
